MAD Typing and Consulting MAD Typing and Consulting is a full-service administrative assistance, desktop publishing and Website design firm, headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. Owner, Melanie O'Kane, is a 20+ year administrative veteran and is the Founder of Mel's Lemonade Stand, an online networking and personal sponsorship association for Virtual Assistants (scheduled to makes its online debut in late October/early November 2008. Melanie has been a Member of the International Virtual Assistants Association (ivaa.org) since 2005, and serves as their online newsletter's (IVAACast) Association Editor and Design/Layout Coordinator. In January 2008, Melanie was featured in an article by Zaher Karp published by BusinessWatch Magazine entitled, "Do You Need a VA? All about virtual assistants". In addition, Melanie hosts her own Internet radio program on BlogTalkRadio and has written two e-books, both designed to help up-and-coming Virtual Assistants be successful.
